Abstract:

"Community" is positioned as the answer to marketing's prayers, but it leaves most of us with more questions than answers.  What kind of community initiative is appropriate for my company/department? What has been successful? How do I measure success? Should I even bother with this whole mess?

This presentation will provide an overview of community initiatives types, present success stories, and provide tools to assess the role of community in your own organization.

Dylan Thomas is Digital Director at Rassak Experience, an award-winning digital brand building and communications group with offices in San Francisco and Barcelona.

Dylan assists multi-nationals, fast-growth startups, non-profits and educational institutions to leverage digital technology to engage their audiences and reach business goals.
