Semantic Web SIG

The Semantic Web SIG provides a forum to educate local developer and the entrepreneur community about the potentials and opportunities in the emerging semantic web. We organize bi-monthly meeting focused on software applications and Internet services powered by the emerging the Semantic Technology, including Semantic Web and Web 3.0 technologies. Our events will explore the technical advancements made in the semantics community and their impact on existing technology sectors like Collaboration software, Search, Databases, Social Networks and Enterprise Applications. Each bi-monthly meeting will consist of a technical and business perspective, and certain SIG events will be workshops to help educate the audience on the basic principles of semantic technology.

Semantic Web SIG Mission:
The SDForum Semantic Web SIG is dedicated to improving the functional knowledge of Silicon Valley software professionals about operation, specifications, and industrial use cases for applied Semantic Web and related technology foundations.
